Aries Season 2024 Cheat Sheet

“I think that we all do heroic things but hero is not a noun, it’s a verb.” – Robert Downey Jr.

As I did for Pisces, I have created an Aries Season 2024 Cheat Sheet. These are some brief notes from the talk, meant for quick reference to the themes I discussed. Unlike Pisces season, there was no drama putting together the messages for Aries season. I do wonder how much of that is because of the extreme surrendering, yielding, softening and opening up that happened within me during Pisces season. There were times this past season where I had emotions I could not name because I had never felt them before, and moments that felt as if they would stay with me for the rest of my life. The ones that maybe on my death bed I would think back to and remember that Pisces season 2024 was when it all started.

So how does one follow such a profound season? Why with Aries season of course. I want to go over the transition from Pisces to Aries and then the role of the South Node in Libra themes, before I go into the other messages I offer up for consideration.

Back From The Spiritual Retreat

”Connecting with cosmic intelligence has no useful power if you are unwilling or unmotivated to act upon this gift of wisdom ”

This line is taken from the message for ‘Amethyst’ from the ‘Seasons of the Witch: Imbolc Oracle’ deck and I feel are perfect as the last message from Pisces season. I have had a number of people message me throughout Pisces season and I have heard it all, and if I am completely honest, experienced much of it too. The emotional depths of those infinite Piscean waters, to the cosmic highs with glimpses of divinity, and everything in between.

The emotional and spiritual highs and lows, the breakdowns and breakthroughs, the opening and the purging, can all be likened to a spiritual retreat, without the namastes, yoga mats and pants. But as anyone who has ever gone on a profound retreat knows, you can come out of there feeling rejuvenated and changed; flipped upside down like the Hanged Man, but how long before being back in everyday life means we revert to our old ways?

As you heard from my personal example in the talk, the rubber band effect can and does happen.

Pisces may have been a much needed spiritual, emotional and healing sanctuary, but time to dispel the illusions. How do you know it’s an illusion? It is time for action, and Aries energy is bold, confident and assertive. If you cannot embody it, save it for bedtime and call it the dream that it is.

A Word About The South Node

“Yet even while we exalt our own personal growth, we realize that millions of self-actualized persons don’t add up to an actualized society”’The Fourth Turning’ Strauss and Howe

There’s this image of the lone gladiator or warrior stepping into the arena of the battle, an empowered individual, on a quest for growth and self-realisation, and on some level, this is very true. Except didn’t Pisces just show us that we are the warrior and the war? By taking a side, we empower the other side – we’re two fish, not one. The very continued existence of our opponents is down to us, at least a t a Pisces level. How do we translate that into Aries season? Be mindful this season of how interpersonal relationships can actually support you on your own unique path. Co-operation and meaningful connections with others rather than limiting our individual identities, can help us to become more defined in who we are and who we want to be.

The Self

Mannaz and The Circle

”When the Circle appears, it reminds you that you are connected to everything and everyone, including to Spirit. Spirit’s essence beats in your heart and inspires you to co-create your world. Imagine even a smile to a stranger can change the course of a life. When the Circle invites you to dance in the sacred steps of life, know that your work, your love, your service brings greater value than you can know. Stay the course; keep dancing, and all will be well.”

”The starting point is the self…Only clarity, willingness to change, is effective now. A correct relationship to your self is primary, for from it flow all possible right relationships with other and with the Divine.”

”Be in the world but not of it. And yet do not be closed, narrow, or judging; rather remain receptive to impulses flowing from the Divine within and without.”

”Nothing in excess’ was the second phrase written over the gateway to the temple at Delphi. The first counsel was ‘Know thyself’.”

I’m going to be talking about this A LOT this season, so going to keep this brief, this season, know that it’s about recognising yourself in everything. Find yourself everywhere. This does not mean making it about what you want, need, desire etc, there are later seasons for that, this means that whatever and wherever you are is already about you as you are the one perceiving it. Everywhere you look, you find yourself, so find yourself.

Bobcat Spirit: Life is a Mystery

Life is a mystery at the best of times, but if you are really committed to becoming a new you, then become a mystery unto yourself and greet each situation as if it is a mystery. Only when you can look upon each situation as if it is unknown will you be able to see this new version of you and your own becoming/unbecoming.

Keep It Simple

Here’s the bottomline, do what you want to do because you want to do it. Everything else on this page is just a way to enable you to do that. Self-empowered action is basically facing fears of rejection, judgement, criticism, failure, abandonment and anything else you fear. This is the essence of courage and confidence. It is important to be willing to take healthy risks, that means yes, you could be rejected, judged, criticised, you could fail or be abandoned. To be the hero, you have to risk being the villain, to be a success, you have to risk failing. I have even had thoughts about how sometimes what if we lead by being an example of what not to do. Maybe there is merit in being a cautionary tale.
