We can focus a lot on becoming someone or a certain way in order to do something. I mean, it’s literally required for many careers. But what if for the next leg, it’s not what you do to prepare, that is required, but more how you will be changed by that which you nurture and engage in? What if you have all the tools that you could need for now, the rest of the change happens as you allow yourself to be changed by that which you focus on and grow?
Think of an expecting parent or a gardener. You can read every book on parenting or gardening, prepare the respectives nurseries, and get all the tools you need. But at some point, you will only be able to change and get better as you care for and nurture the growth of the child or garden. Every parent knows this. So why would this next version of you be any different? ❤❤❤
