Page of Pentacles Tarot Card Meanings

211 Page of PentaclesThis is a court card and we see a young man dressed in earth tones, holding a coin in his hands.  In the background we see a natural landscape.

The way the boy on this card holds up and looks at the coin in this image, makes me think that he is focused solely on that.  As we know, the Pentacles or coins represent the practical, so the practical and physical are this young man’s focus at the moment, but for how long?  Would he rather be tearing through the field in the background; playing and having fun?

Children are rarely transfixed by the financial and the practical; they are usually more interested in other less practical pass times.  I am sure this young lad would be considered quite boring and practical by his contemporaries.  This child would most likely achieve much, and I can see him as top of his class and getting great grades, but there is more to life than this, especially for a child.

So the message I see here is that although there are times when steady work is needed for development; that energy can quickly become slow, boring and stagnant, leaving you wanting some excitement.  See the practical work as a temporary phase and make the most of this diligent energy, then remember to play as well.

These are the Page of Pentacles tarot card meanings we use in the Free Readings on Aquarian Insight:

This card may indicate a time of steady work and development, which is great if you have lots of work that needs doing. However that energy can quickly become slow, boring and stagnant, leaving you wanting some excitement. Fear not, this is just a temporary phase so make the most of this diligent energy. May indicate a Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn child.
