Happy October Aquarian Insighters – we decided to start the month off with a bang with a new free reading called the Looking for Love Tarot Reading. You may have noticed that there have been fewer articles and posts from Aquarian Insight over the last few months and I have hinted that there are several new things in the pipeline. Just one of these is a group of new free readings that will look at every aspect of love and relationships. The first of these new free readings is the Looking for Love Tarot Reading.

You may be single, and not sure when you will meet someone, or be in the process of ending a relationship and not sure if there will ever be anyone else or just looking for love within your relationship. The tarot spread is in the shape of a pyramid, with the bottom three cards representing the past, the middle two cards representing the present and the card at the top of the pyramid indicating a possible future. To give some practical indication of how effective the Looking for Love Tarot Reading can be, here is an example reading a friend received when she was trying the online reading first thing this morning when it went live.
The friend who tried the reading is currently in a relationship, but has been having a few concerns regarding the future of the relationship, so while she isn’t looking for anyone new, she did want to know if that feeling of love would be back or what was causing her worries.
The bottom three cards relate to what the pursuit of love has signified for her in the past. The Queen of Swords shows us the ‘Fears’ this woman, a Libran, had and may still have. She possibly hid behind a cool exterior, and not let people get close enough to her. It shows that she may need to be warmer and more expressive of her feelings. The 3 of Pentacles as the ‘Experiences’ card indicates that she always tried to build a future in her previous relationships. The important thing she can take from this card is that she has used the lessons she learned in the past well; she is still planning for the future and wants to move forward and build a future with someone. The Knight of Swords seems to echo the message of the Queen of Swords; the ‘Lingering Effects’ of the past are that this woman can be too cold and maybe even cruel at times. It may be time to drop the barriers and allow others in; to not be afraid of expressing feelings.
Moving to the present, we know this lady is already in a relationship, but that is shown here with the 8 of Cups, which clearly shows that when it comes to her current ‘Hopes’ there is something missing. She is not truly fulfilled and she must find what it is that will make her happy. Now, this card is not telling her to leave her partner, but rather that she has lost some hope for the relationship itself. She must find that hope in herself; what is it that made her fall in love in the first place, what is missing? What would it take for her to feel fulfilled? We must always look for and identify the problem first before we can find a remedy, and that is the ultimate aim of the tarot; to help us find the problem. The next card indicates ‘Obstacles to Overcome’ and the presence of the Queen of Pentacles shows that these may be practical and outside of the relationship rather than within it. The Libran who received this reading is currently unemployed and unsure about her career path at this time. It may be that the uncertainties related to her practical, working side are spilling over into her relationship. It would be a good idea for her to focus on solving her career issues be it through professional advice or trying something new.
The top card, the outcome of this question about her search for love seems rather depressing when we see the forlorn figure in the image of the 5 of Cups, but all is not lost. She seems to have a strong sense of loss and missed opportunity, but the previous card shows us that this may be misdirected from her feelings about being unemployed. There is definitely the opportunity for love available and she must focus more on what she wants; she must identify what her hopes are, as shown by the 8 of Cups before. There is a great message here of being open and warm with feelings and not hiding them behind a cold exterior, that keeping the problems with a job separate from love is important and dealing with them effectively will help the feelings of something missing within the relationship. We all feel like we have lost all hope at times, but by identifying what it is that we want, we can often find a path to that, returning hope.
